TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Middle School Principal Comes To The Rescue With Hair Clippers

We’ve all been there. No one likes a bad haircut. Adult, teenager, kid, doesn’t matter. It’s the worst feeling. That’s what this story is so nice.

A middle school principal at a school in Indiana went viral after he helped out one of the students by going home to get his hair clippers. The kid refused to take off his hat because he hated his haircut so much and thought all his classmates would make fun of him. When the principal came back with his clippers he saved the day by giving the kid a haircut!

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What is the real name for the cardboard sleeve on coffee cups?

Every time I get a coffee to go from somewhere and put one of those cardboard sleeves on the cup I always wonder if it has a real name besides “cardboard sleeve thingy”

It does! Some other actual terms for it are coffee clutch, coffee cozy, Java Jacket, and paper zarf. Paper zarf?! I’m definitely trying to ask for that next time just to see the look on the persons face.

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Women’s Doorbell Camera Captures Nicest Person Ever Returning Her Lost Wallet

It’s one of the worst feelings in the world. Losing your wallet or purse. You feel so helpless and like someone out there has ALL your personal info. If you’re lucky enough to have someone return it to you it instantly becomes the best feeling ever.

Last weekend this woman in Florida lost her wallet at a Walmart. The guy who ended up finding it did the right thing and actually drove to her house to return it! Now the video footage from her doorbell camera is going viral.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Why are fire trucks red?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Why are fire trucks red?

There are a few different theories about why fire trucks are red, and they both make sense! So you can choose which you want to believe.

Theory 1: The trucks were originally painted red to make them stand out from all the other vehicles on the road. Back in the early 1900s, Ford only offered cars in black, so red fire trucks would be sure to stand out from all the black vehicles on the road.

Theory 2: The earliest fire departments were made up of unpaid volunteers. These volunteers didn’t have much money, and red was the cheapest color of paint to buy, so they painted their fire trucks red for that reason and it just stuck ever since.
