TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Reddit Users Pay It Forward With GameStop Profits

Even if you don’t fully understand the stock market it’s safe to say the last week was pretty eventful in the finance world. All you really need to know for this story is that a bunch of people on Reddit who invested in GameStop stocks made a whole bunch of money.

Now a few of those people are using it for good! A guy in Texas used his profits to pay it forward and buy ten Nintendo Switches that he donated to a children’s hospital in Dallas. Then in Minnesota another guy dropped off six of them at a children’s hospital near him.

At least there is some good to come out of all this stock talk.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: How much snow can fall in 24 hours?

With this blizzard raging outside I started to wonder how much snow can actually fall in a 24 hour period?

We can only go by past storm history so here is the most that’s ever fell, get ready it’s a lot.

Back in 1921 Silver Lake, Colorado had an April snow storm that dumped 6 feet of snow between 2:30pm April 14 and 2:30pm April 15th. that’s 75.8 inches!

I hope we don’t get anywhere near that today, but that’s the high mark.
