Fairfield Avenue Bridge Reopens Ahead of Schedule!
The Fairfield Avenue bridge over I-95 in Norwalk is back open, just seven months after a tanker fire destroyed it. The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CDOT) fast-tracked the project, completing it in half the expected time. Crews worked tirelessly through summer and fall, wrapping up utility installations like water, gas, and electric lines by September. Another win for CDOT!
Rescue Dogs Take Center Stage!
Connecticut’s Bill Berloni is turning rescue dogs into Broadway stars! Right now, he’s got four dogs performing in Left on Tenth with Julianna Margulies and Gypsy with Audra McDonald. Berloni, who started his career nearly 50 years ago with Sandy in Annie, credits strong bonds between dogs and actors for their stage success. From shelters to stardom, these pups are stealing the show!
