TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Five Year Old Girl Empties Her Piggy Bank To Help Others
One of the things that has been heartwarming during this whole pandemic is the amount of good kids have been doing on their own.
This one five-year-old girl spent two weeks making 200 “Happy New Year” cards for people at a nursing home near where she lives in New York. Her mom says she was worried they were lonely, and came up with the idea herself. She wanted to buy all gifts too so she emptied out her piggy bank and used that money to do it. Love that.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Why does a chef’s hat have so many pleats in it?
Anytime you see a chef you’ve probably noticed their big white hat with all the pleats in it. Traditionally, the hat is made with 100 pleats. Each pleat is meant to represent the 100 ways to cook an egg!
