TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Man Saves His Puppy From The Jaws Of Alligator With His Bare Hands

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Man Saves His Puppy From The Jaws Of Alligator With His Bare Hands

There’s men… and then there’s REAL men. Like this guy from Florida who saved his three-month-old puppy from the jaws of an alligator using his bare hands.

It’s an incredible video to watch. The puppy, who’s name is Gunner might be the cutest puppy ever too. Luckily Gunner ended up being fine other than a small puncture wound. And his hands got a bit chewed up. Other than that it was a miraculous moment.

My sneaky favorite part of the whole thing is how he never even drops his cigar while making the rescue! Amazing.

MUNDANE MYSTERY: What is the middle hole in a spaghetti spoon for?

MUNDANE MYSTERY: What is the middle hole in a spaghetti spoon for?

If you’ve made made spaghetti recently you most likely used that plastic spoon for the pasta with the one circular hole in the middle. I always thought that hole was just to drain the water when you lift the noodles from the pot. Come to find out there’s a much more handy reason for it.

The correct amount of speghetti for a single serving fits in that hole. So before you put the noodles in the water you can measure them out using the spoon. So cool! Totally doing this next time.

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Here’s How Zoom Making Your Thanksgiving Better This Year

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Here’s How Zoom Making Your Thanksgiving Better This Year

I know, I know there’s A LOT of heated debate about Thanksgiving this year because of the pandemic we’re in. No matter what your plans are there is a good chance you’re going to want to zoom with some family members at some point right?

If you have a free zoom account like most of us you’ve noticed they have a 40 minute time limit on zoom calls. If you have a paid account for work or something there is usually not a limit. But most people have the free. In order to help families around the country this Thanksgiving Zoom has announced that as a thank you to their customers they will be waiving the 40 minute time limit on free accounts from midnight November 26 through 6am November 27.

Awesome. Thanks Zoom! My Nana thanks you too.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Why are the letters on a keyboard in a random order?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Why are the letters on a keyboard in a random order?

I thought of this one today when I was typing an email earlier. Why are the letters on a keyboard in a random order?

So the first keyboard ever invented was on the typewriter. Originally, the keys were arranged in alphabetical order which makes sense right? But the workers who were typing on them go so good at typing quickly that they would often break the typewriters. Which is hilarious. So the manufacturers of he keyboards decided to randomize the letters to slow them down and keep the machines lasting longer. Then no one ever decided to change it back even to this day with all the technology we have.

Something to think about next time you’re typing really fast.
