Justin Bieber Releases Raw, Emotional New Song & Video

Justin Bieber Releases Raw, Emotional New Song & Video

Justin Bieber has been VERY busy despite the pandemic and being stuck in the house for most of the year. He just released a new song “HOLY” with Chance The Rapper, has his own custom designed Crocs, and last night released yet another new song.

This one isn’t as fun and uplifting as HOLY though. It’s sort of a dark, emotional song about his struggles with getting so famous at such a young age. The video is actually beautifully shot and edited. I guess music can have all kinds of moods and this is Justin’s somber side.

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Group Who Fixes Appliances & Electronics Forms Deeper Connection With People During Pandemic

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Group Who Fixes Appliances & Electronics Forms Deeper Connection With People During Pandemic

I say this a lot and sometimes people make fun, but it is true that even in this crazy pandemic there are some good things coming out of it.

This latest example is a from group called the Fixit Clinic that helps people repair their old appliances and electronics instead of throwing them out.  They had to stop holding events when the pandemic hit.  Instead, like most companies did they started doing classes on Zoom. Now this has made it so they’re reaching more people than ever.  What’s really interesting is that they are actually connecting with people on a more personal level beyond just fixing their stuff. Sometimes helping them with life problems too. Or just forming a friendly connection. A guy named Peter Mui started the whole thing, and says it’s about more than just fixing appliances and electronics now.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Why Can’t We Smell Our Own Breath?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Why Can’t We Smell Our Own Breath?

You know that feeling when you think you have bad breath but no one is telling you? Then the worst part is you can’t smell it yourself! So frustrating. Why is that?

According to BreathMD,

it could be that we became so accustomed to smelling our own breath that we simply don’t notice its odor anymore—similar to the way we can’t detect our own “house smell.” This kind of habituation doesn’t just inure us to unpleasant aromas, it also leaves our noses free to focus on unfamiliar odors in our environment that could alert us to danger.

Wow. Very interesting. I like that it’s almost like a human super power to protect from enemies. So next time you’re not sure about your breath just pop a mint and hope for the best.

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Quick Thinking Teacher Saves Grandmother’s Life While Teaching An Online class

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Quick Thinking Teacher Saves Grandmother’s Life While Teaching An Online class

Like most students and teachers around the country Julia Koch was teaching her first grade online class when something scary happened with one of her students.

One of the kid’s in Julia’s class was having trouble with his computer so she called a kid’s grandmother. While on the phone she noticed the grandmother was having trouble talking. Thinking it was a heart attack Julia immediately called 911.  Turns out the woman was actually having a stroke, not a heart attack.  Luckily because of this teacher’s quick thinking there’s a good chance she saved the woman’s life.
