MUDANE MYSTERIES: How Many Grapes Makes One Bottle Of Wine?

MUDANE MYSTERIES: How Many Grapes Makes One Bottle Of Wine?

Today’s Mundane Mystery is one you can think about when you’re sipping on your favorite wine this weekend.

If you’ve ever wondered while having a nice red “how many grapes does it take to actually make this wine?!” wonder no more, I found out for you.

On average, depending on the size of he bottle and what kind of wine it is, it usually takes around 700 grapes to make one bottle of wine. Sometimes it’s more, sometimes less, but that’s the ballpark. At least you’re getting your daily fruit intake right?

Cheers!

Shawn Mendes Releases New Song ‘Wonder’ Along With A Cinematic Music Video

Shawn Mendes Releases New Song ‘Wonder’ Along With A Cinematic Music Video

Wake up Mendes Army! Shawn Mendes released his new song called Wonder at midnight. It is the first single from his upcoming album, also titled Wonder, which comes out December 4th 2020.

The song has an epic building type sound to it. Definitely a newer direction musically for Mendes. Which I think could be a great new era of Shawn Mendes.

The whole album was recorded during a series of recording sessions he did in Rhinebeck, NY & Big Sur, CA over the past year. The video for Wonder honestly feels like an Oscar contender type production. It was directed by Matty Peacock who’s one of the big go-to music video producers in the pop world.

Oh and in case you were wondering like I was… it seems Camila has put those break up rumors to bed. Long live #Camendes!

Tell Me Something Good: 7-Year-Old Boy Saves Up His Money To Ship Healthcare Supplies To People In Need

During the pandemic a lot of people have been helping out those in need in all different ways. But when a child uses their own money they saved to help people it really just warms your heart.

This seven-year-old boy from Maryland named Cavanaugh Bell saved up enough of his own money to pack a 53-foot truck with PPE and other supplies.  He then decided to deliver it all to a Native American reservation in South Dakota that’s considered one of the poorest places in America.

More of this in the world is what we need. Love it.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: How Do They Make Almond Milk?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: How Do They Make Almond Milk?

I’m more of a whole milk guy myself, but I’ll dabble in the occasional almond milk in my coffee if we have it in the fridge. The big question I always had was how on earth do they get that creamy delicious liquid out of those dry, hard, chalky almonds?!

I found out for you, thank to the fine folks over at thekitchn.com.  You can even make it at home it turns out…

The process essentially involves soaking almonds in water overnight or for up to two days — the longer you soak the almonds, the creamier the milk will be. Drain and rinse the beans from their soaking water and grind them with fresh water. The resulting liquid, drained from the almond meal, is almond milk.
