Tell Me Something Good: Connecticut Made Another List, This Time It’s Good!

Tell Me Something Good: Connecticut Made Another List, This Time It’s Good!

I always get nervous when Connecticut ranks high on whatever “List” just came out. But this time it’s a good list to be on!

2020’s Happiest States In America

We actually made the top 10. I firmly believe the only reason Hawaii is number 1 is the nice weather. And what on earth is happening in West Virginia to make them come in last place?! I’ve been to WV before and it’s not THAT bad. I zip-lined down a mountain, rowed down a river, it was beautiful actually. I guess I don’t live there all year round though.

Either way, very interesting list and I’m glad we’re happy here in CT.

Tell Me Something Good: Kid Invites His Favorite 2 Garbage Men To Birthday Party

Tell Me Something Good: Kid Invites His Favorite 2 Garbage Men To Birthday Party

Communities coming together with each other has been one of the few positive things to come out of this whole pandemic situation.

It’s always great to hear especially when it involves kids.  There is a three-year-old in Toronto named Wolfgang “Wolfy” Reader is obsessed with garbage trucks.  Because of social distancing guidelines he only got to invite two people to his birthday party this month.  So he picked the two trash collectors who handle his neighborhood route. The two guys went above and beyond for him.  They brought four garbage trucks to his house and blared the horns.  Then they hung out in the front yard and even gave him his own uniform! How adorable is that? A birthday Wolfy will surely never forget.
