Tell Me Something Good: Rollerblading Halfway Across The Country For Charity

A lot of people have realized during this pandemic that there are only so many things you can do to entertain yourself before you get REALLY bored staying home.

That’s exactly what happened with these kids. Two college hockey players at University of Massachusetts who decided to cure their boredom in a creative, helpful way. They went out and bought some rollerblades and skated almost 900 miles from Massachusetts to Michigan. All while raising money for the American Cancer Society. They ended up raised over $25,000 dollars!

I know their hockey players and everything, but their legs must have been beat by the end of that trip.

Couples Court: Kendall and Alex have been dating for about a year. While she was flipping through his camera roll on his phone, she noticed he had a bunch of pictures of his ex-wife. She deleted a few of them and Alex was very upset. He says they were personal photos and she had no right, she says that he needs to let go. Was Kendall wrong to delete those photos without checking with him, or was she just trying to move their relationship forward? Whose side are you on? (35:48)

Tell Me Something Good: An Interesting Concept Is Brewing In This Old Folks Home

The coronavirus pandemic is hard on everyone for all different reasons. But especially for seniors living in old folks’ homes around the country. Mostly because a lot of them can’t have visitors and are bored just sitting there in the facility every day.

This one assisted living home in Austin, TX has decided to keep their residents busy by teaching them how to brew beer! Usually home brewers are bored dads in their 30s and 40s trying to brew the perfect beer in their garage or basement. But for these residents this is actually the PERFECT activity for them. It takes a lot of time, requires you to use your mind, it’s fun, and you get the satisfaction at the end that you created something.

I wonder what kinds of beer they are brewing? Stouts maybe? Lagers? They don’t really seem like the IPA type.
