Tell Me Something Good: Adorable Couple Both Turn 100, Get A Birthday Parade

Tell Me Something Good: Adorable Couple Both Turn 100, Get A Birthday Parade

During the last few months we have been a part of A LOT of car parade birthdays. One of the fun, good things to come out of this crazy pandemic. Putting a smile on people’s faces on their birthday since the parties are a little different this year.

This adorable couple who live down in Savannah, GA have been married 79 years and both just celebrated their 100th birthday.

Billy and Nellie Jones were born only four days apart back in 1920, and they’ve lived in the same house since 1958!  His birthday was Friday, and hers is today.  Last weekend their whole neighborhood got together and hosted a drive-by birthday party for the happy couple.

So cute!

Tell Me Something Good: Mom Uses Her Last $12 To Invest In 8 Year Old Son’s Business Venture

Tell Me Something Good: Mom Uses Her Last $12 To Invest In 8 Year Old Son’s Business Venture

This story is not only a good one, but also a lesson to kids everywhere on the power of starting your own business.

A single mom out in L.A. lost her job because of the pandemic and only had $12 left to her name.  So she decided to invest it in her eight-year-old son Aaron’s idea to start a business selling plants.  He calls it “Aaron’s Garden,” and it really stared to take off after he blew up on Instagram.  Someone also started a GoFundMe page for the family which raised over $25,000.

Such a cute story. Hopefully this will be their new family business for years to come.
