We’re living in very weird times lately here in 2020. Even with everything horrible that’s happening in the news lately sometimes a story like this comes along and just brings a smile to your face.

Rehan Staton is a 24 year old guy from Maryland who worked three years as a garbage man to pay for college and help support his family.  Now he’s going viral because he just found out that he got into Harvard Law School.  Finding out that you’ve been accepted to a school you applied to and dream of going is amazing for any kid. But considering Rehan’s journey to get here this is especially moving.

Luckily his brother and cousin recorded him opening up all his acceptance emails from different schools so we can watch his reaction. (the Harvard moment is about 5:00 minutes in)

Tell Me Something Good: TikTok Star Surprises Cheesecake Factory Server With Gigantic Tip

During these pandemic times we could all use a little pick me up or pay it forward moment.

There is a girl on TikTok named Lexy Kadey who started something called the “Venmo Challenge.”  She takes donations from her followers of whatever they can give, even if it’s a few cents.  Then she uses that money to leave HUGE tips at restaurants for servers. One of the most recent ones she did was at a Cheesecake Factory where she left a $628 tip.
