Tell Me Something Good: Gentle Giant SHAQ Helps Woman Change A Tire On Side Of The Road

Even if you’re not a big NBA fan you most likely know who the 7 foot 2 former basketball star known as SHAQ is.

There is a lot of stories from over the years about how Shaquille O’Neal is a great guy. Always looking to help others whenever he has the chance. That’s exactly what happened the other day in Florida when he came across a woman stranded on the side of the road who needed a hand changing a tire.

Shaq happened to be driving down the road, saw her, and pulled over to make sure she was all right until help arrived. Once the police did arrive on the scene Shaq gave them all a fist bump. The county sheriff’s office posted dash-cam footage of their officers pulling up and sure enough there is Shaq is there to greet them.

We need more Shaq’s in the world.

Tell Me Something Good: Billy Joel Plays Old Piano He Found On The Side Of The Street

Imagine you are finally uncluttering your house, getting rid of all your old junk, especially that old piano no one ever uses. So you put it out by the sidewalk for bulk pickup.

While peering out the window to see if anyone has taken it yet you see one of the greatest songwriters/pianists of our lifetime tickling the ivory on the side of the street. WHAT?!?!!

This exact moment happened in Huntington Long Island recently when Billy Joel came across this old piano and decided to just start playing it. That has to almost be a natural reaction for the Piano Man at this point right? I’d actually be more shocked if he DIDN’T start playing it.

He even had some funny comments about it too “Not bad . . . it just needs tuning. And the finish is beat. It’s a perfectly good piano. It’s a shame to throw it out. At least donate it to [a thrift store]. They’d probably take it.”

Tell Me Something Good: Man Breaks Guinness World Record For Indoor Ironman Triathlon

Whether you care to admit it or not, most of us have been using our extra time at home these past few months binge watching Netflix, perfecting the latest TikTok dance, eating, and more eating. But some people have used it to break athletic Guinness World Records.

Like a man named Simon Jackson over in England. He broke a Guinness World Record for an Ironman Indoor Triathlon by doing it in 8 hours 17 minutes and 12 seconds. All using stationary machines to finish the whole thing. He rowed 2.4 miles, biked 112 miles, and ran 26.2 miles. Just an incredible display of quarantine athletics. Well done, Simon.
