Meet Indigo: The Lovable, Chonky Cat Looking for His Forever Home

Meet Indigo: The Lovable, Chonky Cat Looking for His Forever Home

Say hello to Indigo, our Connecticut Humane Society Per of the Week! He is a 9-year-old domestic shorthair with striking looks, a sweet personality, and a little extra “fluff” at 18 pounds. 🐱

Indigo is searching for a calm, adult (or older teen) household where he can be the only pet and soak up all the love. He’s a cuddly companion who enjoys eating, sleeping, and getting attention, though sometimes he gets a bit overstimulated and appreciates a little “me time.”

One of Indigo’s goals for his new home? Shedding a few pounds with the help of a healthier diet and some fun playtime! His new family will not only gain a loving friend but also help him feel his best.

Indigo is available at the Connecticut Humane Society’s Waterford location. Visits are by appointment, which you can book now at cthumane.org/adopt.

She loves his brother, but he has an issue with staying out late and partying too hard. They both get up early for work, and she doesn’t want to deal with his brother coming in late when they need to be sleeping. She thinks they should tell him to just stay in a hotel for ten days.

Diane and Katelyn have a chance to win $4400! All they have to do is answer more pop culture questions than Raven in Can’t Beat Raven!

She should be focused on her studies as a freshman and not on a sorority, she doesn’t need to buy her friends. Dad says that this is one of the decisions she must make on her own and who knows? Maybe it’ll be a great thing for her, just because they were not into Greek life when they were in school doesn’t mean she won’t be.

Tuesday, August 19, 2025: The 5 Second Rule is Fake; Anna’s Advice for College Students; Anna Challenges Raven to Buy Tampons!

Tuesday, August 19, 2025: The 5 Second Rule is Fake; Anna’s Advice for College Students; Anna Challenges Raven to Buy Tampons!

Is the 5 Second Rule real? Find out what the experts say, but first Anna and Raven decide which food they would eat if it fell on the floor!

Anna recently got the back-to-school “family form” from her daughter’s new teacher to fill out information about her daughter, so she and Raven fill out the form about each other!

There is a couple that has gone viral for how they discipline their children, but are push ups really that effective in public?

A study found four things “make you an adult”, but what accomplishment do you think solidified your role as a full grown up? Producer Julie asks the Office Squad what they think those things are!

Are you up to date on this week’s biggest news story? Anna and Raven will get you caught up on the trending news including how everyone is Job Hugging and the highest paying jobs in America!

Last week we had a Chicken Call Competition to celebrate the Iowa State Fair and there are a ton of different types of calling competitions! Anna and Raven try it out! Anna’s daughter could win the Mom Calling contest!

Anna reads the college advice she wrote for her sister when she went to college and Producer Julie decides if her advice is still relevant!

Anna saw a man walking out of the Walmart parking lot with his arms full of one item and it is a big tell-tale that he is a good man! Anna wants to see if Raven would do this, but he can’t use self-checkout!

Are you up to date on this week’s biggest news story? Anna and Raven will get you caught up on the trending news including some of the more tangible jobs if you want to make a career change!

Seth and Jen’s home is positioned on a main road and is the corner house. There is a very busy bus stop at the corner that gets traffic from school buses four times a day. (2x in the morning, 2x in the afternoon) The kids are constantly leaving trash on their yard, walking on their grass, yelling and hanging out outside. He works from home, and his office oversees all of it. He reached out to the bus company twice last year, complained to the town, and nothing changed. Before the school starts in their district this year, he wants to file a lawsuit with the town to change the stop. Jen thinks he’s going overboard. There’s no need to get a lawyer involved. What would you do?

Angie and Drew have a chance to win $4200! All they have to do is answer more pop culture questions than Raven in Can’t Beat Raven!

Monday, August 18, 2025: Betting on The Super Bowl Half-Time Performer, What Does “Six Seven” Mean; Global Leader’s Luncheon Menu Got Leaked!

Anna received an email from a listener about something he thinks she and Raven should talk about on the show! But the email has a disgusting photo attached…and Anna talks about it!

Are you up to date on this week’s biggest news story? Anna and Raven will get you caught up on the trending news including one of the most “hate-watched” show’s series finale and Andie MacDowell’s daughter, Margaret Qualley, is playing matchmaker for her mom!

A lot of people thought that Jay-Z would be the performer of the Super Bowl but since August 6th people think it will be Taylor Swift! Find out why!

Millennials and Gen X have reverted to pacifiers to sooth their stress and Anna thinks it might be something she should look into!

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are extremely competitive so Anna, Raven, and Producer Julie share what they’re competitive at!

All the kids are yelling “six seven” and Anna asked her teenage niece what it means! Do you understand these words, because we are still trying to understand the new slang!

So, what do global leaders eat for lunch when they have a meeting? The menu for a recent meeting between American President Trum and Russian President Putin was leaked, and Anna and Raven aren’t sure it represents America’s finest food!

On the New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce had a food hot-take that got all his fans talking, but what’s your food hot-take?

Patty wants to start the tradition of “Back to School Gifts” so that their young children will be excited to return to school. She thinks that if there’s wrapped presents on their first day back when they come downstairs in the morning (like Christmas morning) it’ll get rid of some of the dread. Dad (Javier) thinks this is the most absurd thing he’s ever heard. Get on the bus and go back to school, they’re not spending money on more toys and junk so they can be excited for fifteen minutes. She says it’s not a horse they’re buying; it’s Barbies and trucks! What do you think?

Chris has a chance to win $4100! All he has to do is answer more pop culture questions than Raven in Can’t Beat Raven!
