Fairfield’s hometown boy John Mayer put out a new song called New Light a few weeks ago. Followed by a music video to go along with it. The video now has almost 8 million views.
It’s quite possibly the weirdest music video I’ve ever seen. It’s so perfectly “John Mayer”. His sense of humor, weirdness, all of it. Never change, John. Never change.

Anna & Raven’s Star of the State: Milford
We’ve decided there’s a lot of towns here in Connecticut that most people have no idea about the cool history they contain, or the best place to hang out, or their modern day claim to fame. Well, no more because Anna & Raven have taken it upon themselves to spend a week highlighting each of our Star Town’s. Next week it’s all about Milford! It will be madness! Connecticut, whoo whoo!
As is custom we like to start the week with a pop quiz to see who in the room know’s the most about our featured town! Hear Raven face off with Producer Christian on Star 99.9!
Tuesday we heard from Instagram influence blogger Natalie The New England Foodie in Milford about all the best places to visit in this restaurant mecca shoreline town!
Mayor of Milford Benjamin Blake joined us in studio Wednesday morning!
On Thursday Producer Christian hit the streets to talk with residents of Milford about our curious questions!
Kevin Begley went #BehindtheGrill at Duchess Restaurants to find out what makes their chicken nuggets just so good. Turns out each nugget is cut and breaded that day and only cooked after you order! Yum!
Have a strange painting that you think is worth thousands? Â Have you been harboring your great grandmother’s rocking chair because you think one day it’ll pay your kids college tuition? Â Here’s your chance to get it appraised for free! Email [email protected] and tell us as much information about your piece and send multiple pictures! Â We will have Ryan Brechlin from Nest Egg Auctions in Berlin, Connecticut join us to evaluate your antiques!
Fairfield is our STAR of the state, so First Selectman Mike Tetreau was kind enough to come in and talk about all the great events that are going on in Fairfield, some of the best restaurants, and what the best perk of being First Selectman is!
One of our interns brought in a giant boombox, so we decided to bring back the 90’s and the best dance of that decade… break-dancing! Whether or not we’re doing it correctly, we’ll leave that up to you.
