What is your favorite spot in Connecticut?
Downtown Milford or anywhere by the water.
How long have you worked for STAR 99.9? What was your first job here?
8 years. Since 2012. My first job here was On Air Afternoons 3-7pm.
What makes your station/show great?
The way we connect our listeners with the artists we play at the Star Acoustic Sessions allowing them to see and meet them up close is truly something special about our Star. I also really enjoy keeping people company in the afternoon when I’m on the air. There’s nothing better than being live on the radio playing fun music, telling great stories with “Tell Me Something Good” and trying to stump you with the “I Should Have Known That!”question every day.
Favorite band or artist of all time?
What is the best concert you’ve ever seen?
Mumford & Sons at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. February 2013
TV show or Movie that you think someone should know about?
If you’ve never seen LOST, start there. I have many theories we can discuss. I’ve also been really into cheesy network shows lately. 911, The Resident, and Manifest are all wildly entertaining. For a movie, Whiplash.
If you didn’t do radio, what would you do?
A skill you wish you had but sadly don’t?
Singing or any musical instrument. I’ve always thought it would be fun to be in a band. Instead I just talk about them on the radio!
If you are on death row and you have a final meal. What is it?
Large cheese pizza, duh.
Tell us one fun fact about yourself
I can juggle. Next time you see me at an event ask and I’ll prove it.

I’m predicting it now. 2021 will be the year we see more human connection than every before. Stories like this are exactly why. This one drive-thru worker in Canada recently mentioned to a customer that he used to go to college but had to drop out because he couldn’t afford it. So a bunch of…Continue Reading
You’ve heard it many times, probably even used it yourself. But it’s such an odd phrase that like me I’m sure you’re wondering where exactly “let the cat out of the bag” came from? Centuries ago merchants who sold piglets to people in markets used to sometimes fool the customer by switching out the pig…Continue Reading

Talk about setting a great world record. The event also raised money for a good cause. Bringing…Continue Reading
The original idea of leaving treats for Santa and his reindeer dates all the way back to ancient Norwegian mythology, but Americans started doing it as a tradition during the Great Depression in the 1930s. It became a sign of showing gratitude during what was a time of struggle back then. We’ve been doing it…Continue Reading

With last week’s snow storm and cold temps it is more important than ever to be save around frozen ponds. Sometimes there’s an accident and luckily we have people like Anthony Telesco, a police officer in Easton. He was able to rescue a man and his dog from a frozen pond near Helen Keller Middle…Continue Reading
It’s happened to everyone. It just happened to me the other day actually. You bang that little part of your elbow against something, “the funny bone”, and feel the weirdest sensation. But there is nothing funny about it. So why is it called that? and why does it happen? The funny bone got its nickname…Continue Reading
