Sarah and James just adopted a puppy for their family and their daughter wants the puppy to sleep in her bed. Sarah is adamant about no pets in the bed for many reasons. She thinks her other three kids will fight over where the puppy will sleep each night and she doesn’t want to deal with it, and because she thinks it’s dirty to have an animal sleeping with her. James thinks that it’s not harming anyone for the puppy to sleep in the daughter’s bed, she’s the oldest, and if she wants it, she gets seniority. What do you think?
