Heading into Mother’s Day Weekend it looks like we are going to have some nice weather. There is plenty to do with mom here in Connecticut. From 5K runs and walks to a glow park! Cheers to the moms!

1. Greenwich Police Dept Scholarship Fund Benefit Car show. Saturday May 13th 10-2 Greenwich Town Hall for a day of cars, motorcycles, vintage firetrucks, military vehicles, music, food trucks, and a 50/50 raffle!

2. Glow in the Park Saturday May 13 @ 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm. The Adventure Park at The Discovery Museum in Bridgeport. Join an evening in the glowing forest. You’ll zipline and climb to heart-thumping music for a magical night in the trees.

3. St. Mark’s May Fair in New Canaan, fun activities and delicious food for the whole family on Saturday May 13th 9-6 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church grounds.

4. Silverman’s Farm Open House Weekend Saturday May 13 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm in Easton.

5. The Annual mile-long tag & craft sale at Ocean Beach Park in New London. Event will run from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Rain date is Saturday May 20th. Enjoy a beautiful Spring afternoon on the boardwalk at CT’s premiere sugar sand beach. With over 150 vendors. Parking for this event is FREE, and there is no cost to come and browse!

Dennis and Carla belong to a country club and Dennis signed up for the Mother’s Day golf tournament. Carla isn’t happy about it, she isn’t a golfer and this means that he’ll be leaving Mother’s Day morning and not returning until 2pm. He argues that there will still be plenty of time to go out for dinner, plus, it’s at the club! She should just come and hang with the kids. Is she being unreasonable because she doesn’t want to just stay home with the kids? (36:25)

Raven’s Pet Pals – Meet Cottonball!

Cottonball is an 11-month-old rabbit who has been waiting for a home in our Westport location for some time now. She’s a very sweet, loving rabbit. Due to her size, she’s going to need to live in a home where she’ll be able to free roam. She was found as a stray by Stamford animal control when she was only 3 months old, and she was transferred to CHS for care and to be adopted. She was spayed thanks to an outside veterinary practice, and now she’s ready to be adopted. You can find out more about Cottonball and other animals at the www.cthumane.org
