Welcome to the last day of February Snow Storm! The 28th. The shortest month of the year. But why is February shorter than every other month?
It all goes way back to Roman superstitions. A Roman king named Numa wanted the calendar to match the lunar year so part of that was to make every month have 29 days. In those times ever numbers were bad luck, hilariously. But he needed one of the months to have an even number so it would all work out so he decided to shorten February to 28. February was a month that Romans would recognize the dead so they figured that would be okay to make it unlucky with the even number
Now, the calendar as we know it has changed many times since then. Yet no one has ever changed February from 28 days. Weird!

Hazel says it’s uncomfortable and she wants him to just pay his four-month portion of the rent and move out. He says that’s a waste of money and it’s only four months left. What do you think? Q: This is the top thing people treat themselves to when they have a good day
This is one of those live music moments that will give you chills and feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Lewis Capaldi announced last fall that he has Tourette’s Syndrome. He says its usually not a big deal but sometimes when he’s tired, excited, or nervous it kicks in. Which is what happened when he was on stage singing his big hit “Someone You Loved”. That’s when the crowd immediately jumped in and continued singing the song for him.
We’ve got this snow on the way tonight here in Connecticut so I figured it would be a good day to talk about snow. You always hear about how small snowflakes mean a lot of snow, and larger flakes mean less. But just how big can snowflakes get?
Well… the largest ever recorded was back on January 28, 1887, in Montana. There was a member of the army who witnessed the flake falling and claimed it was “frisbee-sized”. Insane!
Did you get a nickname and it stuck?! What is it? Do you even like it?! Let us know all about your nickname on our Facebook page! Anna & Raven | Facebook
