Tuesday February 21, 2023: Look Ma, I Made It; Gravestone Recipes; Weekend’s Dumbest Argument

Do your parents help out with your kids?  Many families rely on the grandparents for help with young children, but Anna found a statistic that showed her why that’s not always a good thing! (:30)

Are you up to date on this week’s biggest news stories? Anna and Raven will get you caught up on what’s trending, including the reason the royal family is mad at South Park! (2:59)

Getting a pet is great, but if you insist on having one that will outlive you, that’s all I need to know about you! (6:28)

What was the dumbest argument you had this weekend?  Anna got into a battle with her 4 year old over her inability to stop licking things! (10:27)

When did you first like you had really “made it’?  Raven discovered a new feature in his car that really made him feel like he had done something with his life! (14:31)

Most American teenagers are on social media, but is it really that bad for them?  Anna and Raven spoke to Dr. Jennifer Wider about the impact social media has on today’s youth! (24:39)

Is there a dish you make that is so good you would put the recipe on your gravestone?  Anna makes a delicious banana bread, but another member of the show might have her beat when it comes to their culinary skills! (28:38)

Preston and Felicia were asked by Felicia’s sister to babysit their three children for five days while they travel. Felicia thinks that it’ll be inconvenient but that’s what family is for. Preston refuses because the kids are not well behaved and they’re cheap not to hire a babysitter. They shouldn’t have planned a vacation without their kids if they didn’t have anyone to watch them and didn’t want to pay their nanny! What do you think? (36:21)

Leeann thinks she’s got what it takes to beat Raven in pop culture trivia!  Can she succeed and win the $2200 jackpot? (44:26)

Fights can break out anywhere, but Anna was shocked when she heard about a particularly violent incident at one of the least likely places imaginable! (:30)

Every Friday, Raven’s wife Alicia calls in to give him a grade on how well he did as a husband that week!  This week, Raven’s attempt at romance on Valentine’s Day may have fallen flat… (2:41)

Diane and Jeff have been married for two years. Jeff’s sister recently got engaged and asked Diane to borrow her wedding dress. She told her that she has always loved it and would love to wear it. That dress was a lot of money, she’s never going to wear it again, what’s the big deal for his sister to wear it? What would you do? (31:15)

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Viral Valentine’s Day Stories Are Starting To Roll In

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Viral Valentine’s Day Stories Are Starting To Roll In

Now that we’re a few days out from Valentine’s Day the feel good stories are starting to come out. There are a few that are really great and will definitely make you smile.

This one couple right across the sound from us over on Long Island renewed their vows for their 72nd year of marriage! Congrats to them. Unreal.

On the other side of the love coin, this couple was ready to get divorced and then on Valentine’s Day decided to call it off. They said “we’re not giving up on love yet”.

And this might be favorite of them all. This couple in Georgia has been saving footage from their Ring doorbell camera ever since they started dating. They have everything from footage of the guy ringing the doorbell on their first date to the moment he carried her over the threshold after their wedding. Such a great idea!
