This woman reached retirement in the most unexpected way ever.
At 72 years old she was still delivering pizzas for Domino’s down in South Carolina. A few weeks ago while walking up to a family’s door she tripped and dropped all the food. The Ring camera caught it all on video. Luckily she was okay and so was the food.
The video went viral on TikTok and people started to feel bad for her. So the family decided to setup a GoFundMe so they could give her a really big tip. They’ve now raised over $268,000! Which they will give to her to help with retirement.
Today is Mardi Gras which is historically a Christian holiday celebrated by many people around the world especially down in New Orleans. Where they famously throw one giant crazy parade in the streets. The day is traditionally known as “Fat Tuesday” but why is it called that?
Ever since Mardi Gras started back in the 17th century Fat Tuesday was the day when everybody would “feast” before fasting during Lent which starts on Ash Wednesday (tomorrow). So today is the day to eat everything. If you’ve ever been to New Orleans you know full well how incredible the food is down there. I’m sure people are enjoying all of it as they party down Bourbon Street.
