Anytime you hear a story of a lost pet it tugs at the heartstrings little bit.
But now with how much technology there is it’s easier than ever to send out a search party to find a dog or cat who ran away.
Like this dog in Indiana named Misty who ran away from the family’s house Christmas. It was super cold out at the time so they had very little hope that they would find her. But they still posted on Facebook which led to people in their community rallying together to help. They used everything from drones to security cameras. Until one neighbor who lived about ten miles away decided to leave some food out to see if that would attract her. Unbelievably, it did! And she mad it safe and sound back to her owners.
As a thank you the family threw a big thank you dinner for the who neighborhood and everyone who helped.
My daughter went to a friend’s birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese over the weekend and we started wondering if the mouse who’s the mascot has a middle name? Or did that just sound the best.
He does in fact have one! His full name is Charles Entertainment Cheese. Good to know. And yes, their pizza is still as incredible as when I was a 5 year old.

During Alyssa and TJ’s wedding last month, TJ’s sister announced her pregnancy. Everyone was so excited about the first grandchild that would be born into the family that Alyssa felt that it took attention away from her. Connecticut High School sports have been on fire lately. Especially the 2022 football season last year. One of the standout players was John Neider, Quarterback for Johnathon Law in Milford. He was selected as the Gatorade Connecticut Football Player of the Year! With good reason too. John racked up 4,000 yards of offense and 54 touchdowns last season.
The cool thing about the award is that it also recognizes accomplishments off the field as well. John does a lot of the community such as volunteering at a car wash to raise money for cancer research and when he’s not throwing TD’s he spent time reading to children at the elementary school that HE went to. All while maintaining a 4.18 GPA.
I don’t know why in my head that vanilla was the first ever flavor of ice cream then everything else was just vanilla but adding flavors and ingredients. That’s not the case at all! Chocolate actually came BEFORE vanilla.
