Dealing With Nightmares

Nightmares are the worst! But do adults have the worst nightmares, or do children? Anna & Raven asked children about their most recent nightmare and had dream expert Tzivia Gover join to give insight on how to help your kids through those bad dreams.

Tuesday October 25, 2022: Your Worst Nightmare; Scar Stories; Medium Anna Raimondi

It’s hard to resist the temptation to look up your symptoms online, but if you’ve started diagnosing other people based on WebMD, that’s all I need to know about you!  (:30)

When was the last time you had a nightmare?  Anna had one recently that left her shook, so she reached out to some local elementary school kids and Dream Expert Tzivia Gover to help her figure it out!  (4:01)

Have you ever wondered how the people you’ve lost are doing?  Medium Anna Raimondi is in the studio with Anna and Raven taking your calls! (15:36)

Could you guess a candy bar just by hearing the ingredients?  If you can do it, Anna and Raven have a $75 Target gift card for you! (19:36)

Do you have a cool scar?  Raven got a new scar recently and the ridiculous way he got had his friends crying laughing! (22:09)

Anthony and Hannah have a seven-year-old son that they feel is being treated poorly at school by his teacher. Hannah believes he’s being treated that way because Anthony dated the teacher when they were younger, and he dumped her. She wants to confront the teacher about this. Anthony doesn’t want to say anything because he feels embarrassed by the whole thing. What would you do? (29:36)

Liz has got a shot at $2000! Does she have what it takes to beat Raven in pop culture trivia and claim the prize? (37:54)

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Shelton gift shop owner sells out of custom mugs raising thousands for Bristol Police Heroes Fund

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Shelton gift shop owner sells out of custom mugs raising thousands for Bristol Police Heroes Fund

The owner of a gift shop in Shelton,  Shelton Gift Boutique in Shelton downtown, recently made these very special coffee mugs to honor of the Bristol Police officers who tragically lost their life recently in that horrible attack a few weeks ago.

The shop was selling the mugs for $50 each with all proceeds going to the families of the officers. The mugs sold out in one day raising $2,500 for the Bristol Police Heroes fund! Unbelievable

The owner Bryan Lizotte said he wanted to help out by donating somehow, but since he’s not rich or anything figured this was a good way to do it.

What I love about this is that it not only show what a good heart this store owner has, but also shows the kindness of everyone who bought a mug and sold them out so quickly.

Our love and support go out to the families of all three officers who were involved in that tragedy.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What is actually in pumpkin spice flavoring?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What is actually in pumpkin spice flavoring?

By now you’ve probably had a lot of Pumpkin Spice flavored foods, coffee, beer, treats, but what exactly is in pumpkin spice seasoning? And is there actually any pumpkin?

No! There is actually pumpkin because it’s technically a “Pumpkin Pie Spice” so the ingredients are all things you would find in a pumpkin pie recipe  which is an aromatic blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger. Sometimes allspice is included.

You can buy it at the store or even make it from scratch at home. Yum!
