We all have bucket list items or things we’d like to accomplish before milestone stages of life. Turning 30, 40, 50 etc… but this 29-year-old from San Francisco has made it his mission to do 30 nice things for people before his 30th birthday in February.
He’s calling it “30 acts by 30” which is also his Instagram handle.
These aren’t just little things either. Anyone can buy someone’s coffee. He’s going BIG like making 400 desserts for firefighters and getting 18 different companies to donate $12,000 each in school supplies. Amazing.
Throw him a follow and see if he can do it before February when he turns 30.
The leaves are starting to turn and fall to the ground now that the fall season has officially started. But how many fall every year in the U.S.? It’s kind of impossible to know the exact number obviously but since we have the internet someone decided to ballpark it. They figured out that there are approximately 200 billion trees in the country, which have somewhere around 200,000 leaves each. So if you do the math that adds up to around 40 QUADRILLION leaves. Again, not an official number, but close enough.

Every Thursday in The Feed Kevin talks to Kallie from ButFirstCoffee Blog.com about all things parenting, kids and mom life. The fall season is always a perfect natural backdrop for photos. This week Kallie has some excellent tips for taking photos of your kids and how to get the best shots.
If you’re a mom this story will make you go “Awwww that’s so sweet” if you’re a dad like me you’ll probably say “I’m totally stealing that”.
This dad in Orlando has to get up super early for work every day before his kids wake up. So before he leaves the house he draws each on of them a picture on a napkin and puts it in their lunchbox for school. It’s his way of letting them know he’s thinking of them and they can think of him too. Such a nice thing to do.
He’s a pretty good artist too! He draws cartoons, superheroes, animals, funny drawings, and whatever he’s feeling that day. See the video here
Happy first day of fall! The chilly air, pumpkins, apples, leaves, it all starts now. But here did the word “fall” come from anyway?
Back in the 1600s it started when a poet from England used the term “fall of leaves” so that’s when people started using it for the name of the season. Once it made it’s way over here to the states, Americans shortened it to just “fall”.
The interesting thing is that most British people nowadays call it “autumn” instead of fall.
