I love when celebrities do things like this. Now that they are successful, giving back to their hometown, a school they went, or someone who made an impact on their lives.
The latest to do this is Cardi B. She had been wanted to go back to her middle school in the Bronx for a while now but Covid restrictions kept postponing it. A few weeks ago she finally got to surprise the school and showed up to a auditorium of screaming middle schoolers.
Cardi told them she is donating $100,000 to the school to create new programs for the kids to help keep them off the streets, out of troubled homes, and set them on a path for success in life.

If the storm is really severe the nation who was impacted can lobby to the World Meteorological Organization to get the name to be retired
Since 1950 when they started naming storms 94 hurricanes have had their names retired. Including Sandy and Irene the two big ones that hit around here.

It’s always a challenge when you do a blood drive to get people to come donate. So usually you have to come up with some sort of incentive or catch to get people to show up. But this museum in Germany is has gone above and beyond with their idea and I’m kinda into it.
They are planning a big Dracula art exhibit where they will also be holding a blood drive (get it?! Dracula, blood, yeah you get it). They have partnered with the Red Cross to take the donations so don’t worry it won’t just be some pale guy with fangs taking your blood.
After all these years you would think the “Family Feud” would run out of people to survey. Are those surveys real? With real people answering? They are!
Producers and staff for the show so all the surveys by telephone, and asks each person the talk to about 30 to 40 questions. Which are then turned into questions/answers for the show.
