MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What is the order of who’s next in line after the Queen?

Sad news today as we learned of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II who died at the age of 96 with members of the Royal Family by her side. The family says she dies peacefully just before 2pm eastern Thursday.

She had been in power for the past 70 years so who would be next?

Here is the official order of how it would play out:

  1. Charles, Prince of Wales – married to Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall
  2. Prince William, Duke of Cambridge – married to Kate, Duchess of Cambridge
  3. Prince George of Cambridge
  4. Princess Charlotte of Cambridge
  5. Prince Louis of Cambridge
  6. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex – married to Meghan, Duchess of Sussex
  7. Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor
  8. Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor
  9. Prince Andrew, Duke of York – Queen Elizabeth’s second son
  10. Princess Beatrice of York – Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York’s daughter
  11. Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Beatrice’s daughter
  12. Princess Eugenie of York – Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York’s daughter

They say that your targeted ads on Instagram can say a lot about who you are as a person!  Anna decided to have the whole show scroll through their ads and Producer Jon ended up getting caught in an awkward situation!  (29:27)

Eric and Amanda have been dating for a couple of years and recently Amanda noticed that Eric still has pictures of his ex-girlfriend in his camera roll on his phone. She thinks it’s odd and wants him to delete the pictures. He says it was a time of his life, he loves the way he looks in the pictures, and keeping them has nothing to do with his ex, why would he delete them? What do you think?  (36:16)

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Retired flight attendant will pay tribute to 9/11 crew with his annual beverage cart walk this weekend

The 21st anniversary of 9/11 coming up this weekend on Sunday. Last year around this time we talked about Paul Veneto the 63 year old former flight attendant who was supposed to be on one of the planes on 9/11, but his schedule got changed. 

Now every year he pays tribute to the friends he lost that day by pushing an airline beverage cart from one location to another to raise money. Last year for the 20th he went from Boston to New York over 220 miles. This year he will be doing 25 miles from Dulles Airport to the Pentagon in D.C. He starts tomorrow and plans to finish the walk on Sunday, 9/11

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What does the “i” in iPhone stand for?

Today Apple announced the new iPhone 14 and a bunch of other updates to their various toys.

What does the “i” in iPhone stand for anyway? Back in 1998 Steve Jobs was asked about it with the iMac and iPod were released, which then evolved into the iPhone. He explained that it stands for “Internet”.

Makes sense! Because it certainly doesn’t stand for “inexpensive”.
