This is like something out of modern day Baywatch.
You’ve seen them before. Those small planes pulling a banner or sign to advertise something. Usually flying over a beach or crowded area so they can get the most eyeballs on it. I’ve always thought that it’s surprising there aren’t more accidents with them because of how dangerous it looks to fly with something hanging off your plane.
Well, it happened. A banner plane crashed out in California last Friday. Lucky for the pilot it was right near a local lifeguard competition which just happened to be happening on the beach he was flying near. Once they saw the plane go down a bunch of the lifeguards sprung into action and managed to save the pilot’s life.
You may have heard this before, but it’s true. Yes. You’re taller in the morning than at night. The reason for this is because over the course of the day the cartilage in your body compresses down making you slightly bit shorter.
I feel like if that’s the case they should play all basketball games at like 7am.

MEGAN’S MOM QUOTE OF THE WEEK: “I’ll cut my grass with scissors before I get pregnant again”
If you’ve ever found yourself with a basement or attic full of infant shoes and clothes you’re going to love this idea.
A husband and wife in Oregon decided to design baby shoes that are made completely out of biodegradable materials. Once the kid outgrows them you just toss them into a boiling pot of water and POOF! They’re gone. They claim they’re still strong enough to last a few years just incase you have another baby who might need them. But what a great idea! I want to do this with all the things in my house that we don’t use anymore. Just throw them in a pot and turn them into vapor.
Toilet paper does seem to be a much brighter white than anything else. How do they do that?
The raw paper starts out just like any other paper… as wood pulp. Then they manufactures bleach that wood pulp with hydrogen peroxide or chlorine to make it look much whiter.
While the bleaching process is more of an aesthetic thing for looks it does also remove a substance called lignin from the pulp which makes the paper soft. Because you want that soft feel with toilet paper. No one wants to wipe with printer paper. Ouch.
