If you’re a parent of middle school or high school age kids you know how ruthless and challenging these years can be. Between bullying, drama, teasing it can be hard for them. That’s why a story like this one will warm your heart.
A sixth grade student at a school in Colorado couldn’t get anyone to sign his yearbook. He had been going though some tough times with bullying lately. His mom was understandably very upset about it so she decided to post something about it on Facebook. Some of the students and parents saw the post and had no idea how hard he was taking it. Then a bunch of students all showed up to sign his book, which is now packed with all kinds of advice and words of encouragement. He went from having zero signatures to over 100 messages now.
More of this please.

With everyone getting their first beach trips in over the long weekend it made me realize just how cold the water is here on the east coast this time of year. In my head the Pacific Ocean is much warmer, but that’s actually not true at all.
The Atlantic Ocean is actually WARMER! Scientists have found that the Atlantic Ocean has proved to be about 16 degrees F (9 degrees C) warmer than the Pacific Ocean off the U.S. coast throughout the years. That’s an even bigger difference than I expected too.
Happy summer beach season! Enjoy the warm waters.
