TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: This kid’s tee-ball walk up dance is better than most MLB baseball players

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: This kid’s tee-ball walk up dance is better than most MLB baseball players

If you have kids that play sports you know how great it is to see them on the field, court, ice, whatever sport they are playing. It’s so fun.

Especially when kid’s do something hilarious like this. A boy in California has a VERY elaborate walk-up dance every time he comes to the plate in his tee-ball league. Everyone loves it. His mom, the other parents, even his teammates. If we ever see this kid in the major leagues one day I hope he still keeps this dance.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Why are school buses yellow?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Why are school buses yellow?

It’s a good question. Of all the colors they could’ve made school buses, why yellow? That yellow shade even has it’s own name in the color directory “national school bus glossy yellow”.

It started back in 1939 when transportation officials from all 48 states at the time agreed on a number of different safety measures for buses. One of them being the color yellow. Reason being is that yellow is very easy to see in the early morning hours, dusk, or late at night. Also, the black lettering against the yellow makes it easy to read from a distance.

It took a while for all school buses to get on board with the new standard. It wasn’t until 1974 that all school busses were finally yellow.

Raven’s Pet Pals – Meet Wilson

Raven’s Pet Pals – Meet Wilson

Meet Wilson, a four-year-old, 55 lb. pit/lab with the most infectious smile and soulful eyes. He came to a Georgia shelter as a stray in December of 2021, where he then became their longest resident after waiting 168 days to be rescued. Now he is safe and being spoiled in his foster home in Connecticut waiting for his next chapter to begin!

With a sweet face, happy tail, and plenty of kisses to go around, Wilson is guaranteed to be your best friend! He is a loving goofball and will be your shadow, following you wherever you go. He’s friendly with everyone he meets, including kids. He loves to play with any toy he can get his paws on, especially soft squeak toys, which he will proudly carry around in his mouth. Wilson also enjoys being outside, rolling around in the grass, and will sprawl out and lay like a frog, soaking up the sun.

Despite being in a shelter so long, Wilson is a very good boy – he knows “sit” and “stay,” is housetrained, and is nearly crate trained, however also does fine when left alone in a secure area of the home. Wilson is food motivated and will take treats gently from your hand. He likes going for walks but does need some work on leash. He is fine with other submissive dogs but will need a few introductions before adoption. A fenced yard is required.

Wilson’s adoption fee is $350 and he is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and has been heartworm treated. If you are interested in adopting this handsome man, please complete the application at form.jotform.com/200883908893166. For questions, email [email protected].
