TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Lifelong Flight Attendant Sets New World Record

With all the headaches happening with airlines, airports, and summer travel lately I figured we need nice feel good airline stories anytime we can get them.

Like this 86-year-old woman from Boston, Bette Nash, who just set a world record as the longest-serving flight attendant ever! She got hired back in 1957 when plane tickets were hand written and only cost $12. (I don’t even think you can buy a bottle of water for that price nowadays). 65 years later she’s still up in the skies going strong in the aisles for American Airlines. She says she has no plans to retire anytime soon.

Love it. Go Bette!
