TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: A Restaurant That Is Bringing Mom’s Home Cooking To Their Menu With Real “Moms”

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: A Restaurant That Is Bringing Mom’s Home Cooking To Their Menu With Real “Moms”

There is truly nothing better than Mom’s home cooking. Especially if you’re from an Italian family. But it’s so hard to find when you’re dining out. Until now!

The owner of some restaurants in England named Peppe Corsaro is from Italy so he decided to make this happen. He has set out to hire actual Italian moms and grandmothers, who are mostly in their 60s, to do all the cooking for his menus. They bring in new moms every few months and they use their own homemade family recipes from over the years to serve.

What a brilliant idea! Someone should start this around here.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Which animal has the longest lifespan?

The animal with the longest lifespan isn’t one that you might think. It’s actually a species of clam called the ocean quahog (fans of Family Guy are cheering right now). They are known to live until about 400 years old!

You can find them all the way up and down the east coast from Canada to Florida. There are a lot of them around here in the Rhode Island and Connecticut area. So if you’re eating a delicious stuffed Quahog this summer just know that thing might be hundred of years old.
