This crossed my mind while my wife and I were at Sesame Street Live in Bridgeport with our two kids last weekend. Cookie Monster, easily my favorite character. But does he have a name? He does! His first name is “Sid”. Apparently it was revealed on a 2004 episode of Sesame Street.
The other thing I wondered was does he only eat Chocolate Chip cookies? I ended up discovering something even more mind blowing. Cookie Monster has never actually eaten a cookie on the TV show. They always used rice cakes with brown dots on them to get that crumbs flying affect when he eats them. Makes sense right? But crazy.

Because Colin is so indecisive when making dinner plans for their weekends, Jackie would make multiple reservations at different restaurants, then not show to a couple of them depending on where they decided to go. She has stopped doing that, but now she just lies to the hostess and insists that they called for a reservation. Colin says it’s embarrassing, Jackie thinks it’s no big deal. Whose side are you on?
