TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: A grandmother in Connecticut was recently granted a lifelong wish of hers… at 104 years old

This is one of those warm and fuzzy stories that instantly puts a smile on your face.

A 104-year-old woman in Connecticut up in Farmington named Bertha Komor recently had her lifelong dream become a reality. She always wanted to hang out with and hold a penguin.

Thanks to her daughter and granddaughter who teamed up with the employees at her Farmington retirement home they made it happen! They got in touch with Mystic aquarium and an organization called Twilight Wish CT. Sure enough they were able to bring an adorable penguin right to Bertha for her to hold and spend some time with.

The video is amazing you can see it here. Now I want to hold a penguin!

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What is the biggest sports stadium?

With baseball season in full swing and the NBA and NHL playoffs happening it got me wondering where is the biggest sports venue in the world? Has to be a soccer or football stadium right? Nope!

It is actually the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home of the Indy 500.  There is permanent seating for more than 257,000 people! Then the infield where the grass and track are can hold another 150,000 if needed. I’ve been to it before and it is giant so I believe that.
