TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Olympic Champion making a stop here in Connecticut

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Olympic Champion making a stop here in Connecticut

It’s not often you get to see an Olympic Champion perform up close. Unless you’ve had the pleasure of attending the Olympics somewhere in the world over the years. But it’s very exciting when they make an appearance right in our backyard here in Connecticut.

You might remember Olympic figure skating bronze medalist Gracie Gold from the 2014 games. She will be coming Milford this weekend as part of the Ice Dreams national tour. Happening at Milford Ice Arena on May 14th.

Not only is she an Olympic medalist she is also a strong mental health advocate. Which is fantastic.

If you’d like to see Gracie and other Olympic champs live up close you can get tickets here.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What do stores do with underwear that gets returned?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What do stores do with underwear that gets returned?

Today’s mystery is a zany one that was emailed in from Crystal in Trumbull. Remember you can always send me a good Mundane Mystery you want solved by emailing it to [email protected].

Here’s what I found out Crystal…

Anytime one of the big stores gets an underwear return like Victoria’s Secret, Macy’s, etc… they actually SHRED it!! Tags and all. The reason is because they just can’t take the chance that someone may have tried it on before returning.

So just know that if you have ever returned underwear in the past there’s a good chance it got destroyed into a billion little pieces.
