The Early Bird Gets The Worm!

It’s no secret we are up very early for our job, but why do you get up so early? Do you have to hit the gym before work? Take the dog for a walk? You may want to start waking up early when you find out what time they claim successful people wake up.

March 28, 2022: The Slap Heard Round The World; Life Lessons From Denzel; 4am Wake Ups

It’s the story that everyone will be talking about today, but the question is; was it even real?  (:30)

What time do you get up in the morning?  A new study shows that there is a correct time of day to get up if you want to be successful!  (4:30)

The Chris Rock/Will Smith scandal is all over the news, but at least one positive thing came out of it!  A nice wholesome life lesson from none other than Denzel Washington.  (11:16)

Every news story these days has people on both sides of the debate and the Oscar’s scandal is no exception.  Anna and Raven decided to ask the callers; who was at fault in the Chris Rock/Will Smith situation?  (14:55)

The jury is still out on who was to blame for all the drama at last night’s Oscar’s, but the debate made Anna curious.  Would it have been as big a deal if it had been Jada who had hit Chris Rock?  (26:02)

Kevin and Andrea have a teenage daughter. She was recently humiliated when her friends pointed out that Kevin (her dad) was following sexy models on TikTok. Kevin was unaware that anyone could see who he was following but is unphased. He’s an adult, he can follow whoever he wants. Andrea says not only is it embarrassing to their daughter, but it’s also embarrassing to her! She wants him to delete his account all together. He clearly doesn’t understand how social media works. He refuses. What do you think? (37:04)

Emelda has a shot at $3900!  Can she beat Raven in pop culture trivia and claim the prize or will the jackpot rise to new record highs?  (45:40)

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: The only Connecticut school left in March Madness

March Madness continues this weekend for the men and women’s college basketball tournaments. Connecticut was well represented at the start, but only one team remains. Who else… the UConn Huskies!

The UConn women will face 3 seed Indiana tomorrow (Saturday) at 2pm in the Sweet 16. Plus it’s a home game for them as this regions games are right here in Bridgeport at Total Mortgage Arena. If they win tomorrow they move on to the Elite 8 on Monday for a chance to get to the Final Four in Minneapolis next weekend.

If you’re going to the game make sure you’re as loud and crazy as possible.

LET’S GO HUSKIES!!!

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Is coffee actually good or bad for you?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Is coffee actually good or bad for you?

If you’re a cover lover like myself you’ve probably heard and read both things. That coffee is very BAD for you and that it’s very GOOD for you. This latest study done by the American College of Cardiology is very encouraging if you love your coffee.

They found that drinking two to three cups of coffee a day could in fact add YEARS to your life.  The results showed that coffee had a positive or at least neutral effect on your heart, and it’s even safe for people who currently have heart disease.

The study included 400,000 people for at least a decade.  Showing that coffee actually lowers the risk of heart disease and dangerous heart rhythms.

Now, this doesn’t include the giant sugary frozen coffees or whatever coffee creation you come up with. Just regular normal coffee.

Another cup please!
