TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Scary trip to get donut has happy ending

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Scary trip to get donut has happy ending

This story could have had a tragic ending, but thanks to one super hero Dad it was all smiles in the end.

A dad and his son were at a local donut shop in Aurora, Colorado on their weekly trip to get a weekend donut when a car crashed through the front of the store.  The guy was able to pull his four-year-old son out of the path of the car just in time saving the day.

The owners of the donut shop are now giving the kid one free donut every Saturday for the rest of his life. How cool is that?! Glad everyone is okay in the end too.

MUNDANEM MYSTERIES: How many websites are there on the internet?

MUNDANEM MYSTERIES: How many websites are there on the internet?

There was a time when it was a big deal to have your own website. But now? It seems like everyone and their pet has a site.

Back in 1993 there were only 623 websites on the internet… now almost thirty years later in 2022 there are around 2 BILLION!

I’m not sure who had the job of counting all of them, but I’m sure there are still some terrible old clipart sites from the 90s floating around.

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Dogs helping other dogs

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Dogs helping other dogs

What is the only that cuter than a dog helping someone? A dog helping ANOTHER DOG! And here in Connecticut its even better when one of the dog’s is a husky. Go UCONN.

This 11-year-old Siberian husky is from Seattle. He’s becoming very popular on the internet now because he has his own service dog to help him out. His name is Sterling and sadly he got glaucoma which ruined his eyesight a few years ago. But now that he has this service dog to help him out it’s been great.

The best part is they have totally become best friends too. The service dog’s name is “Walker” which is fitting.

Here are the photos of them out and about they are amazing.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: When did holding up lighters at concerts start and why?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: When did holding up lighters at concerts start and why?

If you’ve ever been at a concert where they play a ballad or slow song you’ve probably been part of the phenomenon where people all hold up lighters in the crowd. These days it has switched over to people using their cell phone flashlight or screen which is a little safer. But when did this all begin?

There are many different theories on this but the most popular one is that it started back in the 60s and 70s. Specifically at Woodstock in 1969 when people held up their lighters to honor musicians who had passed away.
