We’ve almost reached the 12 Days of Christmas and this article has been making the rounds on the internet today. How much would it cost to buy everything mentioned in the song?
If you wanted to buy everything from “The 12 Days of Christmas” it’s going to cost you over $41,000. Crazy! This is actually up 5.7% from 2019 too. The most expensive thing mentioned is the seven swans-a-swimming. You’ll have to come up with around $13,125 for those.
Turtle doves were also up this year, 50% since 2019. The Cheapest item to get someone would be the “partridge in a pear tree”. Partridge would only be $20 bucks or so and the tree is about $202.

Hopefully you didn’t have too much stress traveling over Thanksgiving weekend. Traffic, crazy drivers, and then sometimes you see the flashing lights and your stress level instantly goes through the roof.
Luckily for these people in Mesa, Arizona they were instantly relieved once the officer came up to the window. These cops had no interest in giving out tickets on Thanksgiving Day this year… they were giving people turkeys! They say they just wanted to spread some holiday cheer for people traveling.
If you were born, lets say before 1990… then you probably remember the days of lining up 4am on Black Friday and the weeks that followed searching for those perfect gifts while battling crowds. Anyone younger has most likely done all their holiday shopping from their computer growing up.
With today being Cyber Monday I thought we’d take a trip down memory lane to talk about where and why this got created.
In 2005 The Nationa Retail Federation (yes a real thing) came up with the term “Cyber Monday” as the Monday following Thanksgiving weekend. This was because they started to notice that people were doing a lot of online shopping once they got back to work in the office. Because at the time no one really had high speed internet in their homes so everyone was getting their internet deals on the company dime.
That’s how today became one of the business shopping days of the year and dubbed “Cyber Monday”
