If you looking for a little inspiration today this is the story you need.

A former high school football player in Texas was paralyzed during a game back in 2009.  Incredibly, with the help of technology and an exo-suit, he was actually able to WALK across the stage to get his college diploma last week! Truly incredible to see.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Who comes up with the names for storms?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Who comes up with the names for storms?

With Henri passing through over the weekend it got me thinking who comes up with all the names for these storms anyway?

Tropical storms are officially given a name when they display a rotating circulation pattern and wind speeds reach 39 miles per hour. The U.S. National Hurricane Center are the ones who started the naming process back in the 1950s. Today it is the World Meteorological Organization who comes up with and maintains the list of names. They start the names in alphabetical order each year with the first storm name being “A”. Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30.

If you’re wondering what the rest of the names for 2021 are, here you go…
