MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What does the “e” in Chuck E. Cheese stand for?

We all grew up going to a Chuck E. Cheese for a birthday party, having that delicious glistening cheese pizza and watching an animatronic animal band play live. But today’s mystery… what does the “E” in the name stand for?

As you probably guessed the name of the mascot mouse in the logo is “Cheese” but his full name is actually Charles Entertainment Cheese. Cheese being his last name and the E standing for Entertainment.

I believe there are still a few locations open here in CT. I might have to go this weekend.

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Two People On Parade Float Saves Man’s Life

This is definitely something to think about next time you’re at a parade here in Connecticut.

Over the Fourth of July weekend two members of a martial arts crew were on a float in a parade near St. Louis. They noticed a man in the crowd who looked to be in trouble so they stopped their float to check on him and ended up saving the guy’s LIFE! He apparently was having a heart attack, and he didn’t have a pulse. Luckily they were trained and started doing CPR. They had him breathing again by the time paramedics showed up. Now he’s doing okay.

I’m definitely going to think of this next time I’m at a parade… “Which one of these floats can save my life if needed?”

It’s summertime which means it’s also feeding season for mosquitos. But what makes a mosquito want to bit us humans anyway?

There are a few interesting factors that attract these summer pain in the neck’s to certain people. First is that mosquitoes like biting people with type O blood more than any other blood type. So if you’re type O… watch out. Some other things to keep in mind that they’re attracted to are sweat, having alcohol in your bloodstream, being pregnant, and oddly… wearing black, dark blue, or red.

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: A potential inspiring breakthrough for the visually impaired

For years now it has been a challenge for people that are blind to get around busy streets. Especially in cities or places where walking is essential. Some of the tools used are the walking sticks and service dogs. But now in 2021 there might be an invention on the horizon that could be a total game changer.

Honda is developing a in-shoe navigation system that would help people get around. It would work through a smartphone app and a three-dimensional vibration device. There is a motion censor which will be attached inside the shoe. The person would set their route in the app, just like any GPS, then the device vibrates to give the navigation.

This would be a huge help because it would allow the user to not have to be constantly thinking about their direction. Having the vibrations would allow them to walk with a more relaxed state of mind and be more relaxed.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Can alligators climb trees?

This might be the most terrifying answer I’ve ever researched.

Not only are alligators scary enough as it is while they are crawling around in swaps… they can actually climb too!?

Even though they have short limbs they are still able to climb up a tree. The just need the tree to be on enough of an incline so they can get up to rest or reach their prey.

Nightmare fuel.
