TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: The power of the internet connects photographer with newly engaged couple

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: The power of the internet connects photographer with newly engaged couple

I love a good proposal story. This one is definitely a bit out of the ordinary and shows what can happen when the internet uses its powers for good.

A photographer from Texas was in San Francisco last week taking photos by the ocean when she happened to capture a guy who was proposing to his girlfriend on the beach.  Not wanting to ruin the moment she decided to post a few shots on her Twitter to track them down. Luckily with the help of people on the internet she was able to find them in less than three hours and sent the photos.

What a cute story!

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Is the old phrase “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” true?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Is the old phrase “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” true?

We’ve all heard it or said it over the years… “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”. But how true is that really?

Pretty true actually. Eating an apple each day can help keep you away from negative doctor visits at least. Apples have been known to reduce levels of bad cholesterol to keep your heart healthy. They also give your body more energy if you’re feeling tired in the afternoon and don’t want the caffeine crash.

So next time someone says this to you, they are kinda right.
