If this story doesn’t motivate you to go out for a run today I don’t know what will.

Don Muchow, a 59 year-old Ironman athlete rom Texas, just became that first person to run from Disneyland in California all the way to Disney World in Florida. 2,761 miles to be exact. Don is a type 1 diabetic and and said this was a way to connect and empower others people with Type 1 Diabetes to be active.

He set out on his journey in February and just arrived in Orlando this week. His ultimate goal is to dip his feet in the Atlantic Ocean to officially complete his cross country run from the Pacific to the Atlantic.

Go Don! I hope Mickey at least let him into the park for free.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Why do crackers have holes in them?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Why do crackers have holes in them?

Believe it or not the little holes you see in crackers do serve a purpose.

they are called docking holes. They are what stops the dough from expanding into bubbles during the baking process. There is a machine called a “docker” that pricks the holes in the dough and allows the air to escape so that the cracker can bake properly. This is a good thing because it’s what makes sure your crackers are flat and crispy.

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Restaurant Owner Wants To Help Person Who Robbed Him

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Restaurant Owner Wants To Help Person Who Robbed Him

Restaurant owners are consistently some of the most caring people you’ll ever meet. This story is a perfect example.

Someone broke into a restaurant in Augusta, Georgia last weekend and stole the register.  The owner of the restaurant made the decision to try and give him a job if he comes forward instead of pressing charges.  In his Facebook post he says “No police, no questions.  Let’s sit down and talk about how we could help you, and fix the road you’re on.”

Amazing! I wonder if the robber will follow up.

Our burritos are such a smash hit we’ve got people breaking in at 4am for their fix. So if ya see our door looking…

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What is the difference between a book and a novel?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What is the difference between a book and a novel?

It all comes down to the amount of words. Books don’t need to have a fixed amount of words to be considered a “book”. While a novel must have no less than 40,000 words in the story or collection of stories. Anything less than 40,000 words and it cannot be referred to as a novel. Just a book.

So if you’re started to pen that epic novel you’ve always wanted to write, remember that word count… 40,000.
