It’s been a rough year on so many people because of this pandemic. One of the main impacts has been job loss. But now it looks like the pandemic might eventually mean more jobs to choose from. Which could be good news for you if you recently lost your job.
This new study says companies are now three times more willing to hire people to work remotely from anywhere in the country. That definitely gives you way more options. Good luck out there.

Every since last weekend when we turned the clocks back you’ve probably noticed that it’s getting dark much earlier now. Maybe even before you eat dinner! It’s the worst. But why exactly does this even happen?
The reason is “a tilted axis”. When you look at planet earth from space it’s a big sphere, but it’s not a straight big sphere. It’s actually tilted. Roughly about 23.5 degrees on an axis. Because of that tilt it maks the Earth revolve in a way that is not perpendicular to the sun. As the Earth turns parts of it tilt towards the sun while other parts tilt away.
In the summer months the top of the Earth tilts and faces the sun which gives us those glorious long days of sunlight. In the winter (now) it switches and the Northern Hemisphere points away from the sun giving us shorter days and that dreaded early darkness.
So there you go, you can blame the Earth’s tilted axis for these short days.

No matter who you voted for in the Presidential Election I think we can all agree it’s been a stressful time for everyone. It didn’t make it easier with all the long lines at the polls and some early voters having to wait in the rain, cold, and other elements.
That’s why actor Paul Rudd decided to show up in Brooklyn at the Barclay’s Center polling place and hand out homemade cookies to voters waiting line and on their way out after voting. Not just any cookies either. individually-wrapped blueberry and cream cookies. Which sound amazing, by the way.
A delicious cookie treat is what we all need right about now. Thank you, Paul Rudd.
The weather outside is weather, but that didn't stop Paul Rudd from handing out cookies to early voters at @barclayscenter this morning 🗳🍪#MakeHistoryHere pic.twitter.com/8lVfBcqbjK

You’ve used it a million times for baking, grilling, storing food, keeping things hot. But why is only 1 side of tin foil shiny?!
According the the experts at Reynolds, there is not really a big difference between the two sides. The reason for the dull side and shiny side has to do with how the product is manufactured.
No matter which side is it they both do the job when it comes to keeping those leftovers in the fridge or keeping those fries warm out of the air fryer. The only time it DOES make a difference is if you buy the “Non-stick” Reynolds foil which has a protective coating on one side. If you’re using that they suggest only placing food on the side marked “non-stick” for maximum efficiency.
Happy cooking!
