Tell Me Something Good: Baby Safely Delivered In Backseat Of Car In Bridgeport

Tell Me Something Good: Baby Safely Delivered In Backseat Of Car In Bridgeport

As someone who became a parent just a few years ago I’m always amazed by stories like this.

Yesterday (Wednesday 9/2) around 9:30am a newborn baby was delivered in the backseat of a car near the intersection of Stratford and Seaview ave in Bridgeport.

Detective Jorge Cintron happened to be driving in the area and was waved down by the father of the baby who had pulled over. Cintron immediately called for medical assistance while in the meantime helping the father deliver the baby. While this was all happening another citizen who was driving by pulled over and gave them some blankets from their car.

As far as we know the mother and baby girl were eventually taken to the hospital and reported to both be healthy.

What a story that kid will have for the rest of her life!

Life advice with Hayden Zap! (24:52)

Tanya thinks paying the kids every day for chores is no big deal, they make the bed 2 bucks, they walk the dog 2 bucks. Fred thinks that’s just ludicrous; an allowance is one thing if it’s earned weekly, but he doesn’t think they should pay their kids to take of their regular responsibilities daily. What do you think about this, who’s side are you on? (28:33)

Patriots’ Head Coach Bill Belichick’s Subway Commercial That He Filmed In Connecticut Is Now Out

There has been a lot of celeb sightings in Connecticut this summer. You had Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, and Leo hanging out in Fairfield. Then New England Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick was seen in Branford a few weeks ago filming a commercial for Subway.

The final version of the commercials came out today and they are actually pretty funny.

(my apologies to all the Connecticut Jets and Giants fans)

Tell Me Something Good: Guy Who Lost His Job Is Mowing Senior’s Lawns For Free

Tell Me Something Good: Guy Who Lost His Job Is Mowing Senior’s Lawns For Free

The job market has been turned on its head in 2020. Unemployment is through the roof because of the pandemic. It’s never been harder to find work and yet people like this guy in New Jersey still find a way to give back some good to the world.

Brian Schwartz recently lost his job as a vice-president at an ad agency back in June.  During his spare time in between searching for a new job, he’s been mowing senior citizens’ lawns… FOR FREE!

Such a thoughtful idea.
