A local non-profit in Pennsylvania called Sneakers for Soldiers has seen a HUGE uptick in sneaker donations during the pandemic.
It was all started a few years ago by a military mom who’s son is serving overseas. He would ask her to send him new running sneakers when he needed a pair. Then she realized that other troops needed them too so they started taking donations and created the charity. Once the pandemic hit they saw a huge surge in donations and have been able to send thousands of sneakers to troops in combat zones.

The youth of America are really getting more and more helpful with their ideas during this pandemic. It’s inspiring to say the least.
This story is out of New Jersey where a group of teenagers have started their own landscaping business! They say they did it to stay busy during the summer, make some extra money, but also to help people who’ve been struggling during the pandemic. They’re donating 10% of their profits to a local community food drive where they live. Which is amazing.
My favorite part of this whole story though, is the name of their company… “Leaf-It To-Us.” These kids will 100% be the leaders of the biggest companies in the world someday.

A close game today! Raven had to do some Vogue poses because of the excitement from another win.
A lot of small businesses and people have been getting bailouts or stimulus checks as a result of COVD-19. But now one big brands is giving your kids a chance to get some money too!
Country Time has announced “The Littlest Bailout”. Basically If your child has a lemonade stand that has hit hard times the people at Country Time want to hear about it. All you have to do to enter is fill out the form on their website and your kids could be getting $100 for their lemonade stand venture!
The message behind it all it actually a good one for kids to learn I think. As they say on the site “to help kids preserve the values of lemonade stands, honest work, and entrepreneurship, while putting a little juice back into the economy.” And also give the rest of us some delicious refreshing drinks to cool off this summer.
