Meet Rhino, our Pet of the Week from CT Humane Society! This sweet 4-year-old male guinea pig is looking for his forever home.
Rhino would love to have a calm and gentle home. Our staff believes he may be blind, so he’ll need some extra time to adjust to new surroundings. Rhino thrives with people who are patient, move slowly, and handle him with care. Once he’s comfortable, he enjoys being handled and spending time with his favorite people.
Guinea pigs, also known as cavies, are social animals that prefer gentle handling and a peaceful environment. Rhino may need some help getting used to his surroundings, but with the right care, he will become a wonderful companion. Don’t forget, guinea pigs need a diet rich in vitamin C, so special food and fresh veggies are a must!
