Tell Me Something Good: Guy Runs Inside New Haven House Fire To Save Grandmother and Child

Talk about being brave. Running into a house fire to save complete strangers when you’re not even a firefighter is pretty much as brave as it gets.

Last Wednesday a guy named Nick Ricci was driving through New Haven when he suddenly saw a house that was up in flames. When he pulled up there were two people on the front lawn who had got out. He stopped anyway to make sure everyone was okay.  Good thing he did, because there was still a woman in a wheelchair inside the house with her grandson. Nick ran into the house and managed to get them out safely. Nick and the grandson even went BACK into the house to save the family’s birds that were also inside. Luckily everyone got out safely.

Stories like this make you really happy that there are still selfless people in the world willing to run into a burning house to save people they don’t even know.
