Despite all the horrible headlines about the pandemic, there are some good stories happening too.
Like these two long-lost sisters who found each other because of the pandemic. 53-year-old Bev Boro works at a health care facility in Fremont, Nebraska. When she saw 73-year-old Doris Crippen’s name on her list of patients she immediately had to find out if that was her sister she’s been searching for. Doris recently beat the virus, and was there recovering at the facility. The two sisters had been trying to track each other down for years now, but hadn’t been able to.
What a great story.
When Doris Crippen was hospitalized with covid-19, she suffered from a broken arm and other complications. But then she discovered one of her aides was her long-lost sister, and it made up for everything.
