TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Nurse Calms People’s Verves With Dad Jokes

Anytime you go in to a medical environment, doctor’s office, hospital, getting a shot or vaccine, your nerves on high. It can be a very stressful situation of many people. That’s why it’s important for nurses to ease people’s minds when caring for them. Some use creative ways to do this.

This retired nurse in New Jersey named Peter Schultz has been using a really funny tactic. Peter, who refers to himself as “Painless Pete” has been working as a volunteer to administer vaccines lately to over 100 people a day.  Before he gives them their shot, he calms their nerves by telling DAD JOKES. Perfect! Maybe the best way to take someone’s mind off the fact a needle is about to jab into their arm. I love a good dad joke. Ha ha
