TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: An Amazon Echo Helps To Save A Woman’s Life

Anyone who is allergic to bees can relate to how scary this story is. Luckily everything turned out okay thanks to one piece of technology and a few quick thinking family members.

A woman in Ohio who’s allergic to bees was outside her house when she got stung ten times by yellow jackets. Yikes! She needed her EpiPen which was in the house but was quickly starting to feel the affects of the stings and couldn’t really move. Her husband wasn’t home at the time but he was able to use it to talk their son and neighbor through the process of using an EpiPen by using the family’s Amazon Echo Show and it’s “drop-in” feature. Which is basically like FaceTime or zoom.

In the end they were able to get the pen and administer the shot to help her. Thankfully the woman was okay. Thanks Alexa!
