TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Woman Beats Cancer Then Decides To Climb Mount Everest With Her Mom

This Sunday you’ll probably celebrate Mother’s Day with a very nice brunch, cooking pancakes at home for Mom, or even taking Mom to one of her favorite places in Connecticut. But I can guarantee none of you will be celebrating how this mother daughter team is.

Jess Wedel is a a cancer survivor from Oklahoma who is currently climbing Mount Everest with her 61-year-old mom, Valari.  They’ve been on their journey and were waiting for better weather to do the last stretch.  That better weather has come right in time for Mother’s Day. If they make it to the top, they’ll be the first mother-daughter team from the U.S. to ever conquer Everest together.

Good luck, ladies!
