TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Pre-school Teacher uses creative trick to get kids to behave

If you’ve ever taught or cared for pre-school age kids you know how hard it can be to get them to be on their best behavior.

This one pre-school teacher in Denver used a pretty cool trick. It worked so well that all the other teachers in the school would constantly comment on how quiet and spa like her classroom was.

What she would do is reward the kid’s good behavior. She brought in a disconnected old school corded phone. Anytime a student would do something good she would pick up the phone and pretend she was calling, not their parents, but a character they like. Batman, Paw Patrol, Elmo, Minnie Mouse etc… This plan worked so well that she had very little problems with the kids acting up. The best part is that its all based in positive reinforcement.
